SCADA SYSTEM FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF A DRYING PLANT
We developed this SCADA system to manage a thermal drying plant for sludge resulting from a wastewater treatment plant.
It allows reducing the volume of wet solid products by removing water until achieving dry matter percentages higher than 90%.
Activity Details
The plant is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC) combined with a supervisory system (SCADA).
The PLC commands and controls all the equipment in the plant, while the supervisory system acts as the interface between the operator and the PLC, allowing visualization and/or modification of process parameters, as well as displaying alarms and/or fault causes present in the plant.
